Ok- this is just an excuse for a Doctor Who Post. Basically it was announced that David Tennant- current Doctor- is leaving at the end of 2009. So there was much speculation over who the next doctor aka Eleven would be. The new guy is super young and I don't know how i feel about it. So I am posting a vid I found that shows the awesomeness that is the current Doc and the interview with the new guy :) Yea totes dork.

Ok, so admittedly, I haven't actually watched the vids yet, but I don't like the new Who. He's kind of fug...and granted, I realize the point of Dr. Who is not to be some man God a la Nate Archibald, but I always thought David Tennant was cute in a dorktastic way. Just my 2 cents... :)
no i totes get it. he is kinda fug; but in other pics he looks ok. so on the fence.

Well, I watched the vid and Prain, you'll remember him from an ep of Secret Diary of a Call Girl. I think he's got that awkward cuteness that Tennant doesn't. So, I don't hate him. I think he has potential...
Really? Secret Diary of a Call Girl? Series 1 or 2? I'll have to pull up my episodes and check. I know he was in 'Ruby in the Smoke'- also with Billie Piper ironically enough.
I will say though, I love that he is so expressive with his little jazz hands. I hope thats kind of his doctor "thing" since tennant's is always like licking things and stuff. Still... i am going to miss David.
However, i heard that he may take his "hamlet" to broadway with Patrick Stewart. If that happens not only am i there i may get arrested for molesting him.
just saying. maria, i am assuming i will drag you to NY should this the play come; you will be in charge of me. you might have to get me a leash. :)
